Preconstruction and prefabrication are core strengths of our Process Pipe team. Our disciplined approach focuses on quality and precision at every stage — reducing on-site pipe work while increasing project speed and reliability. At the core of our process is Stratus, a cloud-based platform that streamlines workflows by integrating our CAD software with manufacturing tools.
Our state-of-the-art clean room at our Randolph, MA office meets the highest standards of precision and cleanliness for process piping fabrication. Purpose-built for sensitive applications, it helps us anticipate customer needs, stay ahead of industry trends, and deliver high-performance solutions for critical systems.

Process Pipe Manager
Chris joined Cox Engineering in 2024 as the Manager of our newly formed Process Pipe Division. A proud Veteran, he served four years of active duty in the United States Marine Corps. Following his military service, he gained over 12 years of experience in the construction and mechanical contracting industry, starting as an Apprentice and working his way up to Superintendent before transitioning to the office, where he advanced to Operations Manager. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and two yellow labs and is an avid fan of outdoor activities!

Juan Velez
Process Pipe Superintendent
Juan joined Cox in 2025 and brings over 20 years of hands-on construction experience, including a decade as a proud member of Local 537. Throughout his career, he has taken on a wide range of roles on large-scale projects, from General Foreman to Foreman, consistently delivering high-quality work. His expertise spans process piping fabrication, bio process equipment mechanics, and process pipe skid fabrication, making him a versatile and reliable professional in the field. Outside of work, Juan enjoys spending quality time with his family — taking day trips and enjoying evenings out with his 3-year-old son, and wife.
